We've got our fair share of car loans, store cards and of course the kids constantly need some kit that costs a fortune. so it's no surprise that some months we just don't have the money to make our mortgage payment. But one thing we have always done is to make it up the following month. We've been doing this for years without any problem until we recently tried to remortgage. None of the High Street banks would talk to us! We were gobsmacked – we've been customers of theirs for decades. After that we didn't do too much more about it, we didn't want the hassle of dealing with it. Eventually however, we couldn't afford not to remortgage.

That's when we saw National & Capital's advert in the paper which said they would take all the hassle out of remortgaging. I can tell you, we weren't disappointed! We spoke to Hayley who was so friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. She did all the work for us and she even gave us a binding mortgage decision within one hour!

Now we know exactly what we're paying every month it's made it even easier to know what money we've got to spend. We've even found some money to take the family to the Canary Islands for a holiday!
